Omid Investment Management Group persuant to License No. 1026 dated 14 December 2001 from the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and was subsequently established on 10 February 2002 as a private joint‑stock company with an initial capital of IRR 650 billion. The company was officially registered under No. 183650 with the Tehran Companies Registration Office and the Registry of Non‑Commercial Institutions.

The company was listed to the Tehran Stock Exchange on 25 July 2007 under the ticker symbol “Vaomid” . Its trading symbol was officially opened on 6 January 2008, followed by the public offering of its shares.

The core business activities of Omid Investment Management Co. span a broad range of strategic sectors, including industry, mining, steel, cement, construction, capital markets and financial services, commerce, as well as oil and energy.
