Omid Investment Management Group was established on February 10, 2002 by virtue of license No. 1026 dd. December 20, 2001 issued by Central Bank of Iran with an opening capital of 650,000,000,000 IRR in the form of a private joint stock company and was registered with Corporates and Non-Commercial Institutes Registration Office of Tehran under No. 183650.

On January 18, 2005, the format of the company was converted to public joint stock from private joint stock on the strength of resolution of the board of directors adopted in the extra-ordinary general meeting of shareholders and on July 25, 2007, the company was listed with Securities Exchange of Tehran under “Vaomid” sign and on January 6, 2008, its transaction sign was opened and its shares were floated. Current capital of the company stands at 30,000,000,000,000 IRR.

Omid Investment Management Group is presently comprised of several companies some of which listed with security exchange and plays a crucial role in value generation, economic growth, and employment rate especially in less-developed provinces of the country.
